Today we went on a walking tour of Rome, and saw some of the history and architecture behind the city. It was hot and their was tons of people everywhere, but one of the best things I saw today was the Trevi Fountain. What follows is from my memory of the Trevi Fountain and what I remember seeing.

The sun reflected off the clear blue water, and despite all the tourist taking pictures you could clearly hear the water flowing from the fountain. The white stone of the building looked like it was just built, instead of it being hundreds of years old. The detail of the sculptures made it look like they were real and could move at any moment. The Trevi Fountain really is a sight to see, and just being there transported me back in time and made me feel like I was in ancient Rome.

I would say I have a good memory. The Trevi Fountain is not just something you see and than forget about. It's something you may only get one chance to ever see. The fountain is famous and well known across the world, that just going and seeing it will have a deep impact on your memory. After reviewing the photo I would say I got most details right. However I did forget the change in color of the wet stone and how it added natural detail to the overall scene. It will be interesting to go back at night when it is all lit up, and see how it is different from during the day. Remembering the details of places you go or things you see is important to do on trips such as this. One day, when you look back on what you did or where you went, the small details will bring back memories of the time you spent their and you will be able to share that with those around you.

I look forward to creating more memories to share with all of you.
