My time here in Paris is coming to a close, and as I look back at the memories I have made, I will truly miss the city. Trying different foods, taking the metro and seeing the sites made me really feel at home. Being apart of the culture here has really opened my eyes, and I will go home a different person, because I was able to study and live here. Thank you for all the rain, and for all the strikes making the metro difficult to figure out. Thank you for all the smoke that filled my lungs, and thank you for trying to speak english so I can understand most of the menus here. And most of all thank you for bringing me closer to my friends.

However, the adventure does not stop in Paris. Soon I will be on a plane to Rome, and it will be interesting to see the similarities and differences of the two cities. I am lucky that I get to experience the two different cultures and see the rich unique history of both.

What I am most excited for is the World Cup. Although the USA isn't in this years World Cup, and the one year I am in Rome, Italy is absent means I do not have a team I can support. However, I am excited to experience watching the games in a true football nation.

I will be back soon.
